Bailey Chase was born May 1 in Chicago, IL. and split time growing up between Barrington, IL and Naples, FL.  He went to high school in Jacksonville, FL and college at Duke University on a football scholarship.  Bailey graduated in the spring of 1995 with a degree in psychology and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He spends his summers closer to his roots in the southeast.  Bailey has an older brother and a yellow lab.
