Contacting Bailey
FAN LETTERS: There aren't any rules to follow when
writing a letter to Bailey that you wouldn't apply when writing a letter to
anyone else: be polite and sincere; type or write legibly, we prefer type
written for at least your name and address; keep it short;
keep it appropriate, by that we mean "G" rated. Bailey tries to respond to
all his fan mail, but due to the volume, it may not always be possible.
Please don't feel slighted if you don't get a response right away. If you
want a response to your letter, you MUST include a SASE (self-addressed, stamped
envelope) or a better option would be to
email him. Your chances
for a response are much better that way.
AUTOGRAPH PHOTO REQUESTS:
Notice to all fans: As the demand for signed photos and website
visitors has increased dramatically, we will no longer be able to cover
the cost of materials and postage. Please include a check or money order
for $15 (USD) made out to Karri Phillips along with your request and return
address, we will fulfill it as soon as possible. Just so you know, none of
the proceeds are going to Bailey personally but will be reinvested to cover
the cost of the website, materials and postage. This is being implemented at
Bailey's request and if the proceeds become substantial the balance will go
to charity. Thank you for your understanding. Go
HERE to order a photo online.
PROFESSIONAL INQUIRIES: These should be sent to
Karri@BaileyChase.com. This applies to people in the film industry and other professionals
seeking to contact Bailey about business or other related matters. Examples
include filmmakers, film festival organizers, charitable organizations,
authors researching books, etc.
SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPES (SASEs): Remember
that although SASEs are absolutely required in order to get a reply, including one DOES NOT guarantee that Bailey will respond
although he does do his best to respond to every letter he receives. It
just gives you a better chance than you would have otherwise.
INTERNATIONAL MAIL: When Bailey requests that fans
include a SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope), that applies to people
writing from abroad as well, not just fans in the USA. If you live
outside of the USA, you have two main options for buying international
postage. First, you can buy U.S. stamps to use on the SASE at
StampsOnline.com. The
U.S. Postal Service website has a rate
calculator that can tell you how much postage will be needed to mail your
envelope and its contents from the U.S. back to your country. Secondly,
there are things called International Postage Vouchers (or International
Reply Coupon the number of the coupon is CN01) which can be purchased at
almost any post office world-wide. When included with your return envelope,
they can be used as postage to send your response.
